A little about who did it =)
Started his career in luthiery in mid-2011 where the initial idea was to adjust their own instruments and, due to their curiosity and experience in the industrial area and with tools, the construction of instruments ended up becoming a consequence of this trajectory. His passion for guitars and Heavy Metal was certainly one of the biggest impulses to enter this universe!
His academic background and professional career in the area of Human Resources and people management give him the facility to deal very well with different profiles of people and enrich his didactics in courses on instrument construction.
In 2018, he left his HR professional career to dedicate himself 100% to luthiery, which was previously a parallel career
He was a student at B&H Luthieria and had Henry Ho and Marcio Benedetti as mentors, and today, in addition to teaching instrument construction at Eco, he is the owner of Evil S. Custom Guitars.
Hi, I'm Pedro Henrique, founder of Eco Guitar. Eco Guitar was born thinking about how to transform, in a sustainable way, Brazilian woods into musical instruments.
The brand's history began in 2014 when I decided to unite my appreciation for guitars, my experience in the advertising audio industry and the sustainable proposal.
Luthieria carries in its name what moves it: the raw material of the instruments comes from the streets or from reforested wood and are transformed into guitars and basses with unique characteristics and singular timbres.
Eco Guitar's differential permeates all stages of production: the choice of boards, the treatment given to the pieces, electrical installation, painting, finishing and adjustment. The result is unique.

Build your own guitar: shaping the neck by hand, clogging the body cavities, giving that impeccable finish and even unraveling the details of this instrument that we are simply in love with. Because Eco wants to see your dream come true!
We offer courses for beginners in the world of tuning, maintenance and construction of musical instruments.
There are 5 encounters (with the option of 6) in which you will build a solid or semi-solid body from scratch. Starting with the design of the instrument on the wood, passing through the router and the shape, and still gluing, soldering, installing the frets and adjusting.

What do I need to take?
Nothing! Bring you and the will to build!
I don't have previous experience with woodworking, can I take the course?
Yes! The course is designed for beginners in carpentry. And don't worry: machine handling will be supervised and safety equipment will be provided.
What will I have access to during the meetings?
To all wood for the body, arm and scale, hardware and parts for capture and electronics, as well as machines, tools, jigs and jigs.
Among which models can I choose to develop?
YOU CAN CHOOSE ANY SOLID AND SEMI-SOLID BODY MODEL! If the template is not in our library, we outsource the template creation service at a cost of R$500.00.

What kind of finish will we give the instrument?
As painting takes practically the same construction time, we offer oil and wax finishing, where curing takes just 24 hours. The painting service is also offered and outsourced, we do with Music Kolor.
What types of wood do we use?
For the body: Tauari, Jequitibá, Cedro Rosa, Peróba de Demolição, Marupá, Freijó.
For the arm: Tauari, Jequitibá, Imbuia
For the scale: Imbuia, Demolition Imbuia, Demolition Ipê, Cumarú, Cedrinho, Tauari, Ivory, Roxinho
What if I don't feel confident at some stage in the process?
No problem. We understand that some parts of the construction can be intimidating on the first try. But one of the objectives of the course is precisely to offer the necessary support for the first steps and put you at the forefront of building your instrument. Guidance and tips are part of the course, but don't be afraid to go further and expose any doubts that may arise. Your instrument thanks you. :)

Students per course
We will have a maximum of 2 students per teacher to be able to pay attention to the process.
How many days is the course?
Intensive: From Monday to Friday. It will be 5 days from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm
Every last week of every month, we give a discount to anyone who signs up for the course.
On Saturdays (Individual Module): There will be 5 Saturdays from 9 am to 3 pm
Individual Module: The student gives the dates he can take the course and we hit the agenda =)

I want to take the course alone, with the teacher's full attention to me, how much does it cost?
The amount of R$6500.00 is charged
I'm from outside São Paulo, is there accommodation?
We offer stay during the workshops! For an amount of R$100.00 you can enjoy a space with a bed, bathroom, shower, fridge and cooktop if you want to cook during the workshop. We ask to bring bed linen and towel. We provide Blankets and Duvets =)
